My then-fiance and I first heard Vanessa singing at Café Azzurri in Hartsdale. Hearing her beautiful voice and heart-piercing interpretations of beloved standards made us fans on the spot. When we learned she would be playing the first Thursday of every month we became regulars and would look forward to hearing her sing. When it was time to plan our wedding, we were lucky to get Vanessa and the very talented musicians who accompany her to play at our affair. Vanessa’s professionalism was apparent from the get-go. She responded promptly to emails and it was apparent that she cared about doing the best job possible at our wedding. The set list she presented us with was amazing. She was open to learning a Jessica Molaskey song we wanted as our wedding song and she sang it beautifully. Our guests were blown away and now, weeks later, continue to comment on her amazing voice.
